Over 100 years ago, in the Spring of 1901, a girl of 17 returned from two years training in London as a corset maker, borrowed £2 from her father a whole weeks rent  - and opened her shop in High Street Arcade. Madame Foner had arrived in Swansea !

We shaped the women of Swansea then, and for the 110 years since, we are still moulding women to give that wanted, “in” look.From the curvaceous ladies of the early 1900s to the boyish figures of the 1920s and the arrival of the bra – then to the well corseted foundation garments of the 40s and 50s we have been there.

We search the world for the best, lightest and most flattering ways of enabling us to look gorgeous – not to mention very seductive, too !

Come to our shop in Shoppers Walk – opposite the Grand Theatre – and see our most astonishing range of bras, basques and shapewear.  Plus figure-flattering swimwear !  And what is more important, (and only a handful of places in the U.K. can say this) our friendly trained staff can advise the bewildered customer which is the best for her, and only her, and can fit her accordingly. If by chance we do not have the right fitting in stock, we can probably have it made in a short time.

And no, we never claimed to sell cheap garments, but yes, whatever we do sell will be well-made quality, and will last a long time, and keep its shape and the customer happy.
